Sergei's anger had vanished and he began feeling a little sorry and ashamed of himself for having set a spoiled, drunken and perhaps sick man to work at menial labour in the cold.

Ionization energies measure the tendency of a neutral atom to resist the loss of electrons. It takes a considerable amount of energy, for example, to remove an electron from a neutral fluorine atom to form a positively charged ion.

Using equation of motion
2aS = Vf2 – Vi2
Putting the above mentioned values
2ad = V2 – 0
a = V2/2d
Now force is given by
F = ma
Putting the value of acceleration
F = m(V2/2d)
As we know that
Work done = Fd
Putting the value of F
Work done = (mv2/2d)(d)
Work done = mV2/2
OR
Work done = ½ mV2
Since the work done is motion is called "Kinetic Energy"
i.e.
K.E. = Work done
OR
K.E. =1/2mV2

SAS congruence criterion: If two sides and included an angle of one triangle are equal to the corresponding two sides and included angle of another triangle then the two triangles are said to be congruent.

Consider {tex}\triangle{/tex}ABC, {tex}\triangle{/tex}PQR
here AB = PQ, AC = PR and {tex}\angle{/tex}A = {tex}\angle{/tex}P
Hence {tex}\triangle{/tex}ABC {tex}\cong{/tex} {tex}\triangle{/tex}PQR by SAS congruence criterion.
