Tropical Rain Forests:
- The forests are thick and dense, preventing sunlight from reaching the ground.
- Many trees in this vegetation shed their leaves at different times of the year.
- They are also called Evergreen Forest because they appear green year round.
- Some trees found in this region are Ebony, Rosewood, Rubber etc.
- In India, parts that witness this vegetation are Andaman and Nicobar Island, some parts of North East, a small strip of the western side in the Western Ghats.
- Animals found in Tropical Rain Forests are butterflies, spiders, snakes, frogs, sloths etc.

Gender roles can be defined as the behaviors, values, and attitudes that a society considers appropriate for both male and female. Traditionally, men and women had completely opposing roles, men were seen as the provider for the family and women were seen as the caretakers of both the home and the family.

Hampi is famous for its ruins belonging to the erstwhile medieval Hindu kingdom of Vijaynagar and it is declared a World Heritage site. The temples of Hampi, its monolithic sculptures and monuments, attract the traveler because of their excellent workmanship. The construction of walls in Hampi was done using a technique in which stone slabs were wedged together by interlocking. No mortar or cementing agent was used in this construction. Hampi had a distinctive architecture.
