Hello friend 1 IshikaKOCHHAR 08.09.2017 Math Secondary School +5 pts Answered A NUMBER CONSIST OF TWO DIGIT WHOSE SUM IS 8. IF 18 IS ADDED TO THE NUMBER ITS DIGIT ARE REVERSED.FIND THE NUMBERS. 2 SEE ANSWERS please anyone send the answer fast Log in to add comment Answers rahul9835    Expert Hello Friend ! Let us assume that one of the digit of the two digit number is X, then problem the other number will be (8 - X) From problem we get that, if we add 27 to the number the digits get interchanged and also since the number is a two digit number then X will in tens place (7 - X) will be in ones place. So the equation we get 10X + (8 - X) + 18 = 10(8 - X) + X 10X + 8 - X + 18 = 80 -10X + X 9X + 26 = 80 - 9X 9X + 9X = 80 - 26 18X = 54 X = 54/18 X = 3, So the digit in tens place = 3 the digit in ones place is (8 - 3 = 5) , then the number is 35 and when 18 is added the result is 53, the digits interchange their position in the new number. Ans: 35.

Since the base angles of isosceles triangle are equal, therefore,
Let the base angles be 'x' and 'x'.
Also it is given that the vertex angle is twice its base angle, therefore,
Let the vertex angle be '2x'.

Using Angle Sum Property of Triangle,
x + x + 2x = 180°
4x = 180°
x = 180°/4
x = 45°

Now, base angles = x = 45°
& vertex angle = 2x = 90°.
Hence, it is a Right Angled Triangle.

Let the cost of 1 table is x ∴ cost of 3 table is 3x
Let the cost of 1 chair  is y ∴ cost of  2 chairs is 2y
According to the question total cost of 3 tables and 2 chairs is 1850 .
∴  3x+2y=1850 ________(1)
and x=75+y  (_______(2)  (Since in question it is given that cost of table is 75 more than chair )
Solving equation (1) and (2) simultaneously
3x+2y=1850  __(1)
x-y=75 _(2)
Multiplying equation (2) by 2
we get 2x-2y=150  _(3)
Adding (1) and (3)
we get 5x=2000
∴x=400 therefore cost of  one table  is Rs 400
substituting the value of x in (2) we get 400-y=75
∴y=400-75= 325
therefore cost 1 chair is Rs 325

Let the present age of Manoj be x
Age after 12 years = x + 12
Age 4 years ago = x - 4
As per the given condition
x + 12 = 3(x - 4)
x + 12 = 3x - 12
-2x = -12 - 12
-2x = -24
x = 12
Hence, Manoj's present age = 12 years

(3/5)³ × (3/5)-6 = (3/5)2x-1

(3/5)3+(-6) = (3/5)2x-1

(am×aⁿ = am+n)

Bases are equal. Exponents must be equal.

3+(-6) = 2x-1

3-6 = 2x-1

-3 = 2x-1

2x = -3+1

2x = -2

x = -2/2

x = -1

During this period important changes occurred in the Hindu religion. The Hindus started worshiping new deities. The construction of temples by royalty, and the growing importance of Brahmanas, the priests were other developments of this period. One of the major developments of this period was the emergence of the idea of bhakti—of a loving, personal deity that devotees could reach without the end of priests or elaborate rituals. This was also the period when new religions appeared in the subcontinent. Muslims regard the Quran as their holy book and accept the sovereignty of the one God, Allah. Like Hinduism, Islam was interpreted in a variety of ways by its followers.

Jute is very strong . It also possible that there will be a big piece of ice it creates a cold area around it. So, the warm air is enabled to go there

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 4 months ago

Gunny bags are made up of jute .so, the fibre of the jutes prevent heat transfer from coming inside from out side. This prevent ice to be melt. Because they are made of jute. Hence the air in the pores of the fibre prevents any heat transfer between the ice and the surroundings.
