If f:R➡R given by f(x)=x square . Why can't it be onto function? Plzz give me a brief description on this.

See. As it is given that f(x)= x square so F(2)=4 and F(-2) is also equal to 4 .so 2 belongs to codomain of but -2 doesn't belongs to codomain of F hence the function is not on to function
