To convert radian into degrees, the value of radian is multiplied with 180/pi. So, 3 radian= (3×180/pi)° =171 9/11° We cannot leave the value of degree in mixed fraction. So we have to convert the mixed fraction into sub units of degree- minutes(')and seconds("). We will take 9/11° and convert it into min. So, 9/11°=(9/11 × 60)' =49 1/11' Now we will change 1/11' into seconds. So, 1/11'=(1/11 × 60)" =5.45 seconds We cannot leave the value of seconds in mixed fraction. We have to write it in decimal form if the number is not exactly divisible. The whole answer, 3 radians= 171°49'5.45" Hope this helps.
