What is central idea if the poem animals
  • 2 answers

Shitikantha Mishra 1 year, 11 months ago

The central idea of the poem animals revolves around the fact that as the society went on progressing, humans became more self-centred or selfish instead of being innocent, self-contained, placid and honest which are natural traits of being a human. They have become more critical to understand. But the animals have always carried forward their natural traits like non-complaining nature and being self-sufficient. So, the poet wants to live peacefully with the animals instead of living a critical life with humans.

In this poem poet wants that he could turn and live with animals. He had a strong desire to live with animals and learn from them . He wishes to live with animals because of their positive qualities. Animals are always satisfied with what they have . They don't weep for their sins . They do not have to vow down to anyone. They don't cry for their duties towards the god. He wants to say that animals have qualities like love, sympathy, etc, which humans had lost due to material things
