let third side of triangle = x x + 10 + 18 = 42 ( Perimeter of triangle is 42 ) x + 28 = 42 ( Transpose of 28 in R.H.S. ) x = 42 - 28 x = 14 s = 42/2 ; s = 21 Area of triangle = √s(s﹣a)(s﹣b)(s﹣c) { Put s = 21, a = 18, b = 14, c = 10 } √ 21(21-18)(21-14)(21-10) √ 21*3*7*11 = √4851 = 69.64 (approx)
