So well i was studying chapter -2 of physics and i got confused in 2.2 electrostatic potential So in it v=electrostatic potential which is equal to work done in bring a charge from a point to another And then v=w/q I dont know why q is there. No video on yt explained this Plz help

v= w/q means that potential difference is the amount of work done per unit test charge. q is the test charge.
