Given a+b+c=0 Take dot product of this with itself (a+b+c).(a+b+c)=0 a.a+a.b+a.c+b.a+b.b+b.c+c.a+c.b+c.c=0 On solving this, we get 3 + 2(a.b+a.c+b.c)=0 Hence (a.b+b.c+c.a)=-3/2
