In vector summary it is written , direction cosines ...l = a/r , m= b/r , n = c/r . Here a,b,c are direction ratios and r is magnitude of vector . But in three dimensional geometry chapter it is written l= ak , m = bk , n= ck ... where a,b,c are direction ratios and l,m,n are direction ratios.. How is so possible
