Hello, 2x +3y = 5 ------------1 4x + ky = 10 ------------2 a1 = 2, b1 = 3, c1 = -5 a2 = 4, b2 = k, c2 = -10 condition for infinite no. of solution: a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1/c2 So, a1/a2 = b1/b2 2/4 = 3/k k = 6 Then, b1/b2 = c1/c2 3/k = -5/-10 k = 6 Therefore, value of k is 6
