Use chain rule here as: dy/dx=(dy/du)×(du/dx)-----[A] •Differentiate 1st function w.r to u by quotient rule. •Differentiate 2nd function w.r to x also by quotient rule. •Put the values in equation A. •If your answer is in terms of u then put the value of u(in terms of x) at last.
