Let radius of the hemisphere be r.
According to the question,
Volume of hemisphere = Surface area of hemisphere

{tex}\frac { 2 } { 3 } \pi r ^ { 3 } = 3 \pi r ^ { 2 }{/tex}

{tex}r = \frac { 9 } { 2 }{/tex}units

Diameter of the hemisphere = 2( radius of the hemisphere)
{tex}\therefore \quad \text { diameter } = \frac { 9 } { 2 } \times 2 = 9{/tex}
