Solution~~ sin^(-1)x >cos^(-1)x arcsin(x) > arccos(x) x > sin(arccos(x)) x > √(1 − x²) (1 - x²) ≥0 x² ≤ 1 |x| ≤ 1 x ≤ 1 and x ≥ -1. <-----------------------------------(domain for right hand side) ______________________________________________________________ x > √(1 − x²) x² > 1 - x² 2x² > 1 x² >1/2 |x| > 1/√(2) x > 1/√(2) and x < -1/√(2) _________________________________________________________ The domain that is true for both is 1/√(2) < x ≤ 1.
