if u r preparing for competetive exams then it is not sufficient to use a single book like ncert.NCERT is best for boards but even in boards u need side books to improve ur confidence level.if u r preparing for boards then books like rs aggarwal and rd sharma can help u out

For only board level I don't think that it is important only NCERT and Ncert exampler is good no other is needed.
