IF YOU GET LESS MARKS IN ANY OF YOUR MAIN SUBJECT EXCEPT ENGLISH AND MUCH BETTER IN ADDITIONAL SUBJECT THEN YOUR MARKS IN ADDITIONAL SUBJECT WILL REPLACE THAT MAIN SUBJECT IN WHICH YOU COULD NOT ACHIEVE GOOD MARKS...IT IS BENEFICIAL FOR BOTH LOW ACHIEVERS AS WELL AS TOP RANKERS ...IT CAN HELP IF UNLUCKILY ANYONE IS GOING TO GET LESS THAN PASSING MARKS...IT CAN ALSO HELP A TOPPER IN IMPROVING HIS PERCENTAGE IF BY CHANCE HE SECURE LESS MARKS IN 1 SUBJECT
