Oxidation of alcohol to acid.....in the presence of kmno4 and cro3...when to use kmno4 and when to use cro3??????....it's confusing in conversions ..piz ...answer. ....piz.....i am confused.........

you can use CrO3+H2SO4(Jones reagent) or KMnO4 to convert alcohol  𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 to acid ....but 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 CrO3..will convert alcohol to aldehyde which requires further oxidation....to acid..
