1. Silk road not only acted as a main route for trade for Chinese people but as a catalyst for expansion of religion like Buddhism, Christianity etc.
2. example Buddhist monks were sent to central Asia and China through India along with merchants through silk rout
3. Silk route also worked as an exchange point of many goods from china and other countries like Paper, gun powder, silk from China and Glass painting from Mediterranean countries
4. China being a monopolised silk exporters made the silk route as their main chain to expand their market.
