    Because they think that a girl brings bad luck. People abort girl child because of dowry. They think that only boys can earn money and fulfill their requirement.

    Some parents are going to do abortion because they have bad thing about the same that girl is coming ...and they think that boy will come and he will fulfill their needs by earning ? and because of this thinking the birth rate is going down to 914....hope its helpful for you ?
