X^y - y^x = a^b Taking log on both the side Log X^y - Log y^x = log a^b Now, Y. Log x - x. Log y = b. Log a Differentiate wrt x dy/dx. Logx +y/x - Log y - x/y. dy/dx = 0 y/x - log y = dy/dx (x/y - Log x ) dy/dx= (y/x - Log y ) / ( x/y - Log x )
