In perfectly inelastic collision, momentum is conserved i.e. (final momentum is equal to the initial momentum. ), But kinetic energy is not conserved (final kinetic energy is less than the initial kinetic energy.), and the bodies stick together after collision and start moving with same velocity.

Collision in which momentum remain conserved but kinetic energy do not remain conserve is called pure inelastic collision
