lets see how this answer comes. So we have to find dy/dx when, y= log(sinx) dy/dx = 1/sinx × cosx dy/dx= cosx/sinx dy/dx= cotx

dy/dx = d {log(sin x)} /dx = cosx / sinx = cot x [As diff. of log t = 1/t and diff. of sinx = cos x, that's why, by chain rule d{log(sinx)} /dx = cotx ]
