1)It will turn milky because lime water means ca(oh)2 and the reaction takes place btn co2 and ca(oh)2 so it gives insoluble white precipitate Calcium carbonate.reaction: Ca(oh)2 +co2—>caco3+H2O It is double displacement reaction. 2)Baking soda is pure sodium bicarbonate and Baking powder is a mixture of baking soda and tartaric acid. So the difference is BS is pure but BP is a mixture of 2 substances. 3)oxidation of fats and oils of the food is called rancidity. By following points we prevent it : (1)By refrigerating it. (2)by adding anti-oxides (3)by putting it in air tight containers.
