Convert it in the form of tan-1and then add and substract x and in the denominator take x common...it will then become tan-1(1+x)- tan-1x

You just simply apply by parts.. keeping cot-1 wala function as constant.. After that.. In the second part of the integration.. First divide the numerator by the denominator.. And then solve simply..
