According to the question,
Diameter of the copper wire = 1 cm
Radius of the copper wire  = 0.5 cm
Length of the copper rod = 8 cm
Volume of the cylinder = {tex}\pi r^2 h{/tex}
{tex}=\pi(0.5)^2 10{/tex}.....(i)
Length of the wire = 18 m = 1800 cm
Volume of the wire ={tex}\pi r^2 h{/tex}
{tex}=\pi(r)^2. 1800{/tex}
By equating both the equations. we get,
r2 = 200.00044
r= 0.033 cm
Therefore, The thickness of the wire is 0.033 cm.
