Regular electoral elections offer incentives to the political parties because if the elections are not regular, factors like effective campaigning, listings of the candidates and preparation of the manifestos will get affected.
All political parties and leader strive to come to power or retain it, if they are the elected parties. For both these objectives, it is imperative that the elections are held regularly and in time, so that they can plan well on all the above-mentioned factors.
