Given : pQ || RS To prove: AB ||CD construction : B L is perpendicular to PQ , CM is perpendicular to RS Proof : by law of reflection ie. Angle i =angle r Let angle i be 1 and 2 , 3and 4 Since bl is perpendicular to pq , and cm is perpendicular to rs Therefore bl ||cm Angle 2 =angle 3 {Alternate interior angle } 2 angel 2=2 angel 3 {by euclid axiom ie.if equal are multiple by equals than the product is equal} Angle abc= angle bcd (since angle 1=to angle 2 , angle 3=angle 4) As they are alternate interior angle a Since ab ||cd ( by Manju chouhan )
