    In a isosceles triangle two sides are equal Let three sides of isosceles triangle be a, b, c Perimeter=a+b+c, where a=b and c is the base=6cm So,16=a+a+6 16=2a+6 16-6=2a 10=2a 10÷2=a 5cm=a Area of triangle by heron's formula s=P÷2 s=16÷2 s=8cm Ar=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c) √8(8-5)(8-5)(8-6) √8×3×3×2 √2×4×3×3×2 2×3√4 6√4cmsq. 6×2 12cmsq.
