Because it is a reactive metals means very reactive metal hence it cannot be obtained by reduction process it can be obtained easily by electrolysis

Bcoz aluminium is highly reactive metal and it has more affinity of oxygen rather than carbon...so qe cannot obtain aluminium by reduction of its oxides and carbon

it is more reactive than carbon so it jas more affinity or attraction towards oxygen
