For every character in an organism there is a favtor which occurs in pair only one of them express itself and during reproduction it segregate from each other this law is called law of segregation. LAW OF INDEPENDENT ASSORTMENT:- During inheritence of two or more characters the dominant allele a character may occur is in pair with either dominant or recessive of another character and vice -versa
