We take food in our mouth and chewing and grinding it with teeth ,now salivary amylase secrete which convert carbohydrates to starch,food passes through pharynx and enters in oesophagus where due to peristalsis movement food get pushes forward and enters in stomach where HCl kill bacteria present in food and provide acidic medium to it ,mucus protect inner lining,n ow food enters in small intestine where bile from liver converts food alkaline and then it enters in large intestine where absorption of water takes place in rectum and comes out through ****.Thank you.
