First find out the dy/dx of curve y=x^3 so you will get dy/dx =3x^2 Then put dy/dx is your slope of the curve which is equal to the y coordinate that is y=x^3 You will get 3x^2=x^3 3x^2-x^3=0 X^2(3-x)=0 X=0or x=3
