Hey this is the defect myopia as he cant see objects beyond 1.2m. His far vision has been poor. Concave lens of suitable power can correct this vision.

Due to high converging power of eye lens or due to eye ball being too long . The defect of vision is myopia .it can be corrected by using concave lens
