Sufficient energy is released, when the bonds between the haloalkanes break, to break bonds between organic solvents. Hence the new bonds hence formed will be stronger.

The already existing forces between haloalkanes r very strong so they don't react with polar solvents bt react with non polar organic solvents like benzene
