How to find equilibrium constant for …

How to find equilibrium constant for an equation? Using G=2.303RTlogK or Ecell = (0.059/2)logK ? I get confused with this because in some questions we opt the first method whereas for others we use the second one. While trying with both I get completely different answers . What's the concept behind this?
