Ans. Let one root = x

Then other root = x +2

As We know,

Difference of roots =  \(\sqrt D \over a\)

where D = b2-4ac

\(=> 2= {\sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over a}\)

\(=> 2a= \sqrt{b^2-4ac}\)

Squaring Both Sides We Get

\(=> 4a^2 = b^2 - 4ac\)

This is the required Condition.
