Pls explain the sipole movement of haloalkanes....? It should increase as the bond length increases while going down the group but its very different for haloalkanes...?

Bcoz down the group electronegativity decreases so the polarisation . And so the dipole moment shld decrease but for CH3Cl the value is higher than CF3 as CF3 has small bond length therefore its dipole moment is slightly less then that of CH3Cl
