R=pl/a. 4=pl/a. p=4a/l. R'=pl/2÷a. R'=4A/l×l/2÷a. R'=2

Case1, R=4, Length =L and area =A......... We know that , R = rho L/a........ Therefore, rho L/A.=4..........1. Case 2, R=?, Length = L/2 and area= 2A.... Therefore, rho L/4A =?.. ie, 1/4 * rho L / A = ? We know that rho L/A=4 Therefore, 1/4 * 4 =1
