Yes, India indeed can adopt a system like that but it wouldn't because some of corrupt but famous leaders. They know that as long as the people are dumb, they'll vote for illiterate asses who don't even know either the full form of MANREGA (Rahul Gandhi ji) or they are complete corrupts like Lalu ji or useless Mamta Banerjee (I don't how it would sound like if I added ji to her ???). India after Independence had only one goal to provide people things and develop economy so the education system of that time helped to create a force of workers bu what today, we don't need that today, today we have a good growing economy, and there are no more needs for mechanic workers. But our educational system us still the same. But it also isn't like all leaders are corrupt, the Modi government is trying to improve but I don't think that's helping, Few weeks ago the GoI told that tgere would be robotics labs in about 2000 schools of India, and a week ago our Education minister Prakash Javdekar said that the school syllabus is going to be decreased so that children could get time for extra activities. I don't think that's gonna help anyways but the burden would still be the same because of over levelled intrance competition. Reducing syllabus wouldn't help as much as reducing the value of marks and increasing the value of skills would.
