Complicated Life 6 years, 9 months ago

The breaking up of the body of a simple multicellular organism into two or more pieces on maturing each of which subsequently grows to form a complete new organism is called fragmentation

Zoya Inayat 6 years, 9 months ago

Fragmentation is a form of asexual reproduction where a fragment of the parent breaks off and develops into an entirely new but genetically identical individual. The parent will then regenerate, or regrow, the piece that broke off, so in the end there are two new individuals from one.
