Planets are larger and nearer.
Planets are actually large sources of light and very close to earth.so we can say that planets are collection of large no.of point sized sources of light...so variations in amount of light coming from each point sized sources of light will zero that nullify the twinkling effect and hence planet don't seems twinkling
