HCL is produced in our stomach. If it produced in excess then it is resulted in the ulcerations inside stomach and also in acidity. It is cure by taking the antacids like ENO.

Our stomach produces hydrochloric acid. The excess acid in the stomach causes indigestion. In order to cure indigestion, we can take bases called 'antacids'. Magnesium hydroxide (Milk of Magnesia) is one common antacid used for curing indigestion.
