Solve the pair of equation 4x-y=4 3x+2y=14

Given, 4x - y = 4
or, y = 4x - 4
Therefore, We have the following table:

x 0 1 2
y -4 0 4

and 3x + 2y = 14
or 2y = 14 - 3x
or, {tex}y = \frac { 14 - 3 x } { 2 }{/tex} 
Therefore, we have the following table:

x 0 2 4
y 7 4 1


As obtained lines intersect each other at (2, 4)
Hence, x = 2 and y = 4
