A matrix of m×n order has m⋅n elements.
Here, we are given elements in the matrix is 5.
∴ m⋅n = 5
Factors of 5 are 5 and 1.
So, possible values of m and n are 5 and 1 or 1 and 5 respectively.
So, possible orders are (5,1) and (1,5).

In the question , it is given that the order is 2×2 so the elements are a11 , a12 , a21 , a22 . Now the first no is the row no. (Horizontal line) denoted by "i" and the second no. Is the column no. (Vertical line) denoted by "j" . So we have to put the value vo i and j in the equation that is given in the question and have to solve it .
