It is equal to rate of reaction when concentration of each of the reactant is unity.

Driving Hour 6 years, 5 months ago

Rate constant is the rate of rxn. when concentration of reactant molecules taken as one RATE = [A]^m [B]^n then [A] and [B] =1

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 5 months ago

Rate Law : It is the expression which relates the rate of reaction with concentration  of the reactants. The constant of proportionality ‘k’ is known as rate constant.
Rate constant: When the concentration of reactants is unity, then the rate of reaction is known as rate constant. It is also called specific reaction rate.

It is because hydration energy of Cu2+ ion is high compared to Cu+ ion. The high hydration energy of Cu2+ can overcome second ionization energy of Cu2+ .That is why Cu2+ is more stable than Cu+ ion in aqueous solution.

I am going to tell u the best method to remember it ➡️ Start relating it to ur life, ur surroundings. It could be related to itself as well. Believe me with this u'll start loving chemistry like me who earlier didn't liked it much. Example - like if u r confuse in drawing structures of nitro benzene and aniline then,, dekho nitrogen dioxide Hota h NO2 isse related krke tum yaad rakhna k benzene pr NO2 mtlb nitrogen dioxide ka nitro and benzene related it as nitro benzene. And benzene pr NH2 aur NH3 mtlb Hota h ammonia vha se relate Kiya k name m A aaya to mtlb NH2 lgega benzene pr ➡️ Aniline bn gya.. Sayad aapko Ese samagh naa aaeye but Ese hi yaad rakha jaa skta h..

Rust is the common name for iron oxide, which as the name implies, is made up of the elements iron and oxygen. The compound is Fe2O3. Iron combines quickly with oxygen, and the process of turning iron to iron oxide is an example of corrosion. You can see things like steel rust because steel contains iron.

The law of mass action states that the rate of a reaction is proportional to the product of the concentrations of each reactant. This law can be used to explain the behavior exhibited by solutions in dynamic equilibria. The law of mass action also suggests that the ratio of the reactant concentration and the product concentration is constant at a state of chemical equilibrium.
