Biochemistry is both life science and a chemical science - it explores the chemistry of living organisms and the molecular basis for the changes occurring in living cells. ... The biochemist seeks to determine how specific molecules such as proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, vitamins, and hormones function in such processes.

Raj Singh 6 years, 3 months ago

the branch of science concerned with the chemical and physico-chemical processes and substances that occur within living organisms.

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 3 months ago

Aayushi Bhandari 6 years, 3 months ago

Halogens appear to be coloured substances becuase in the electrons in these elements in exicted state jump in higher orbitals and thus when comes back to it's original/ground state releases energy which appear to be in different colours

Tanishq Saxena 6 years, 3 months ago

Halogens are coloured due to adsorption of visible libht by thier molecules which results in the excitation of electron by adsorbing visible light of wavelength except 1 which is of particular color
