The decision making process of the non-democratic rulers is very quick. They are also efficient in decision making and even in the implementation of the decisions. This all happens because non-democratic rulers do not have to bother about deliberation in assemblies or about the public opinion.
On the other hand, democratic form of government is based on deliberation and negotiation. This causes the process slow. They followed procedures, their decisions may be more acceptable to the people and are more effective.

Democracies lead to peaceful harmonious life among citizens:
- No society has a permanent solution for the differences that can come up between various groups in it.
- But democracy provides the opportunity to negotiate the differences and decide on what is better for everyone.
- Non-democratic regimes usually just ignore the internal problems or suppress it.
- Democracy ensures inclusion of every group including minorities and its interests in the decision making.
- Democracy reduces the chances of differences or conflicts becoming violent.

The democracy is better than any form because:
(i) It is a government of the people: Whether it is direct democracy or indirect democracy, ultimately it is the government of the people. It is run by the people themself directly or through their representatives. This type of government always thinks and acts for the welfare of the people. Therefore democracy is called the government of the people, by the people and for the people.
(ii) Dignity and equality: Democracy enhances dignity of the individual by treating every person equally. Law does not discriminate on the basis of ***, caste, colour, religion or region etc., in a democratic system.
(iii) Universal Adult Franchise and role in decision making process: In democracy every citizen gets the right to vote automatically after a particular age and choose his/her representative in the government. In this way we can say that democracy involves every citizen in the decision-making process of the lands.
(iv) Room for correctness and resolving conflicts peacefully: Democracy is such an effective form of government which provide room to correct its own mistakes and resolves conflicts amicably.

- In igneous and metamorphic rocks:The smaller occurrences are called veins and the larger occurrences are called lodes. They are usually formed when minerals in liquid/molten and gaseous forms are forced upwards through cavities towards the earths surface. Examples: tin, copper, zinc, lead, etc.
- In sedimentary rocks:In these rocks, minerals occur in beds or layers. Coal, iron ore, gypsum, potash salt and sodium salt are the minerals found in sedimentary rocks.
- By decomposition of surface rocks:Decomposition of surface rocks and removal of soluble constituents leaves a residual mass of weathered material which contains ores. Bauxite is formed in this way.
- As alluvial deposits:These minerals are found in sands of valley floors and the base of hills. These deposits are called placer deposits. They generally contain those minerals which are not corroded by water. Examples; gold, silver, tin, platinum, etc.
- In ocean water:Most of the minerals in ocean water are too widely diffused to be of economic importance. But common salt, magnesium and bromine are mainly derived from ocean waters.
