- Merchants supplied money to peasants and artisans, persuading them to produce for an international market.
- Demand for goods increased since the European powers had acquired colonies and sold their goods in these colonies.
- But merchants could not expand production within towns because the urban crafts and trade guilds were very powerful.
- Rulers granted different guilds the monopoly rights to produce and trade in specific products.
- It was therefore difficult for new merchants to set up business in towns. So they turned to countryside.

This statement was told my Ganghi ji. India's great moral leader Mohandas Gandhi famously said that there is enough on Earth for everybody's need, but not enough for everybody's greed. Today, Gandhi's insight is being put to the test as never before. The world is hitting global limits in its use of resources. ... India's is growing at nearly the same rate.

- The economic depression of 1929 and resultant political and socio-economic tensions intensified anti-imperialist mood, thus making the Civil Disobedience Movement inevitable. Agricultural prices began to fall from 1926 and collapsed after 1930. Due to the fall in demand and exports, the Indian farmers found it difficult to sell their harvest and pay their revenue. This caused immense tension in the countryside.
- Another major reason for the movement was the appointment of a statutory commission under sir John Simon. It was set up in response to the national movement and was to look into the constitutional reform in India. The major problem with the commission was that it did not had a single Indian member.

Belgians resolved the ethnic conflict between 1970 and 1993, as they amended their Constitution four times, to work out an arrangement that would enable everyone to live together within the same country. Belgians are made up of two main linguistic and ethnic groups; the Dutch-speakers (called the Flemish) and the French-speakers (mostly Walloons), as well as a third tiny but constitutionally recognized group from two small German-speaking areas.

Soil is generally referred to as the medium that grows plants and is some mixture of minerals (dirt) and organic matter (compost). Land, on the other hand, is the term used to reference large areas of earth, including anything on it (natural resources and buildings). The main difference between the land and soil: The lithospheric part of the earth, which is comprised of solid rock material is known as land. Moreover, it eliminates water. On the other hand, the soil is the surface covering of land and it is present in the water bodies.
