Sphincter muscle is a muscle which has the capability of contracting and relaxing itself to guard specific openings which communicate different organs in the body.
For example, pyloric sphincter is the structure which is situated at the junction of the stomach entering the duodenum. This is structure made up of sphincter muscles which are always closed except during delivery of partially digested food, the chyme into the small intestine. This food can pass only in one way from the stomach to intestine. The reverse flow is prevented by the pyloric sphincter.

Electric current through a conductor is said to be 1 ampere If 1 coulomb charge flows through any cross- section of the conductor in 1second is said to be 1 ampere

Deepak Singh 5 years, 7 months ago

When 1 coulomb of charge is flow through a circuit in one second then it is said to be 1 ampere of current flowingh through it. Derivation Let q=1c T=1s Hence we know rate of flow of charge is known as current Then , I=q/t I=1c/1s i.e 1c/s is called 1 amp .

Mansi Mishra 5 years, 7 months ago

An ampere is a unit of measure of the rate of electron flow or current in an electrical conductor. One ampere of current represents one coulomb of electrical charge (6.24 x 1018 charge carriers) moving past a specific point in one second. ... The ampere is named after Andre Marie Ampere, French physicist (1775-1836).
