1. Excess water is removed through stomata by transpiration which is the process of removal or evaporation of water.
2. Plants also get rid of oxygen, a by - product in the process of photosynthesis and carbon dioxide which is the by - product formed during respiration. The plants get rid of these by stomata present in their leaves.
3. Some of the wastes stored in the leaves are removed by the detachment of the leaves itself from the tree.
4. Waste are also stored in the cellular vacuoles which do not affect the functioning of cytoplasm because of its outer membrane known as tonoplast.
5. Other waste products are stored in resins and gums, especially in old xylem which stops working thereby.
The thing is that the plant have many xylem tissues for the transportation of water and old xylem tissues always get replaced by the new ones.
6. Terrestrial plants excrete some waste into the soil around them whereas aquatic plants remove the wastes by the process of diffusion.

Copper vessel is tarnished due to copper oxide layer formed on its surface .
Copper oxide is basic in nature. The green coating on copper vessels is due to the formation of basic copper carbonate formed by the attack of O2, CO2 and moisture of the air on the copper vessel.
Lemon is acidic. Thus, on rubbing the tarnished copper vessel with lemon, the basic copper oxide or copper carbonate reacts with the acid (citric acid) present in the lemon to form a salt which is washed away with water

The process by which a new species develops from the existing species is known as speciation.
Speciation is caused due to three factors, which are:
- Geographical isolation: Caused due to reproductive isolation in separated groups of a population.
- Genetic drift: Caused due to changes in the gene flow imposed by the isolation mechanism.
- Natural selection: Caused due to genetic variation within a population of an organism.

Retrovirus, any of a group of viruses that belong to the family Retroviridaeand that characteristically carry their genetic blueprint in the form of ribonucleic acid (RNA). Retroviruses are named for an enzyme known as reverse transcriptase, which was discovered independently in 1971 by American virologists Howard Temin and David Baltimore. Reverse transcriptase transcribes RNA into deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), a process that constitutes a reversal of the usual direction of cellular transcription (DNA into RNA).

When HCl or HNO3 are mixed with water then they dissolve in water to form H+ or H3O+ ions which shows their acidic character. For example just see the following reactions

When alcohols and glucose are mixed with water then they do not dissolve to form ions. Hence they do not show acidic character.

- Ventricles (lower chambers)
The wall of the heart is made up of three layers:
- Epicardium- This is a protective layer made of connective tissues.
- Myocardium- This layer forms the heart muscles.
- Endocardium- This is the innermost layer and protects the valves and the heart.

Ciliary Muscles:
- The ciliary muscle to which eye lens is attached helps the eye lens to change its focal length by changing radii of curvature of eye lens.
- When the eye is focused on a distant object, the ciliary muscles are relaxed so that the focal length of eye lens has its maximum value, which is equal to its distance from the retina.
- The parallel rays coming into the eye are then focused on the retina and we see the object clearly.
- When the eye is focused on a closer object the ciliary muscles are strained and focal length of eye-lens decreases. The ciliary muscles adjust the focal length in such a way that the image is formed on retina and we see the object clearly.
